Others have their ballistic rating just as they are, “Stand Alone”. If the threat level is low, some users might choose to only have soft ballistic panels in their plate carrier, or wear a so-called bulletproof vest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe price logic with ballistic plates is quite simple. The price goes up with the level of protection.
