The sleeves have underarm diamond gussets, giving you more mobility, and the fabric has some stretch, which improves mobility even further. The cut is designed to fit even the folks with broad shoulders.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou won’t easily run out of cargo space in this one because the jacket has ten pockets: two open side pockets, two buttoned outer breast pockets, as well as two zippered Napoleon pockets for all those small essential items that you don’t want to lose no matter how tough the going gets. There are also four open pockets inside: two very roomy ones, and two smaller ones. The larger ones easily fit long AK magazines, and the smaller ones shorter AR magazines without printing too much. The large one even fitted a Suomi submachine gun drum magazine, but let's just say that that didn't scream covert anymore. If you want to carry pistol magazines, we recommend using some sort of belt clip mag pouch inside the pocket, otherwise the fit is very loose. You can, of course, use the pockets to carry all sorts of other things too, from cell phones to hidden whisky bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a button closure in the front and button adjustment on the cuffs. It is big enough to fit even thicker headgear underneath. For stormy weather, there is a collar and a clever adjustment system that allows you to pull the hood so tight that it will stay on no matter how the winds blow. When you wear the hood down, it forms a thick and tall collar, keeping your neck warm.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe hem doesn’t have the extra long back flap found on Blanket Shirts. Thus, this is better for hiking and canoeing. The hem is still long enough that you won’t show your bare ass when crouching down or bending over. When it is a bit warmer fall day, a Merino T-shirt is enough. When you hike on a colder day, you can put the Särmä Henley Shirt on top of the T-shirt. When you sit in the camp on a cold day, a wool sweater will make your life very pleasant. If there is a very cold wind in the camp, a windstopper fleece is a good alternative for the wool sweater. If it rains in biblical proportions, you can put a rain poncho on top.
