The flat belt loops, made from a 25 mm (1") webbing, are 60 mm (2.4") wide. Since the loops have a 25 mm (1") spacing, they can also be used to attach PALS-compatible pouches horizontally.

The padding consists of two layers of 4 mm (0.16") thick dense closed-cell foam. The body side is made from a rubberized friction fabric, which keeps the padded belt from sliding up and down and all around.

If you’re looking to carry a heavier belt kit, check out the 3-piece belt pad of the Savotta Valjas belt system.
